A full-time School Psychologist position is available on a maternity leave contract in Coventry, RI. This role involves supporting elementary school students with a caseload focused on early education. The contract is set to conclude on June 12, 2026, with a standard workweek of 37.5 hours.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct psychological assessments and evaluations for elementary students
- Develop and implement intervention plans tailored to student needs
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and staff to support academic and emotional growth
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to individualized education programs (IEPs)
- Provide counseling and crisis intervention as needed
Qualifications:
- Licensed or certified School Psychologist with relevant experience
- Strong knowledge of psychological testing and assessment methodologies
- Experience working with elementary-aged students preferred
- Ability to manage a caseload efficiently and communicate effectively with school teams
- Familiarity with special education laws and procedures
