A K-12 onsite School Psychologist opportunity is available in the Martinsville, VA area, with service required primarily in Danville, VA. This contract position offers a caseload of 20-25 hours per week throughout the school year, providing a fulfilling role supporting diverse student populations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments for K-12 students.
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and administrators to develop effective intervention plans.
- Provide counseling and crisis support as needed.
- Interpret and communicate assessment results to support student learning and development.
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to support Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).
Desired Qualifications:
- Master’s or Doctorate degree in School Psychology.
- Valid state certification or licensure to practice as a School Psychologist.
- Experience working with K-12 student populations.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to manage a caseload effectively within a contract period.
