A K-12 onsite School Psychologist opportunity is available in the Martinsville, VA area, with service required primarily in Danville, VA. This contract position offers a caseload of 20-25 hours per week throughout the school year, providing a fulfilling role supporting diverse student populations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments for K-12 students.
  • Collaborate with educators, parents, and administrators to develop effective intervention plans.
  • Provide counseling and crisis support as needed.
  • Interpret and communicate assessment results to support student learning and development.
  • Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to support Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).

Desired Qualifications:

  • Master’s or Doctorate degree in School Psychology.
  • Valid state certification or licensure to practice as a School Psychologist.
  • Experience working with K-12 student populations.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to manage a caseload effectively within a contract period.

Location & Schedule:

  • Position is based onsite, serving schools primarily in Danville and the surrounding Martinsville, VA area.
  • Part-time commitment of 20-25 hours per week during the school year.
