A full-time School Psychologist position is available with a K-12 district in Decatur, IN, offering a contract for the current school year. This role provides an opportunity to work across two elementary schools and a combined middle/high school campus, delivering psychological services tailored to a diverse student population.

Responsibilities include conducting cognitive assessments, preparing detailed reports, and participating in multidisciplinary meetings. The position involves handling approximately 17 evaluations scheduled for November and December, focusing primarily on cognitive testing, while educational diagnosticians manage academic assessments. This role supports the district's commitment to student success by providing crucial insights into students’ psychological and educational needs.

Key details:

  • Full-time schedule with 7.5 billable hours per day
  • Flexible start times between 7:30 AM and 9:00 AM
  • Contract length: Current school year (CSY)
  • Work across two elementary schools and a combined middle/high school

Qualifications and experience:

  • Licensed or certified as a School Psychologist
  • Proficient in cognitive testing and report writing
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with educators and families
  • Experience attending and contributing to student support and intervention meetings
