A full-time School Psychologist position is available for the entire school year, serving K-12 students in Detroit, MI. This contract role offers the opportunity to support student learning and well-being across a diverse student population in an urban school environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct psychological assessments and evaluations to identify student needs.
- Develop and implement intervention plans in collaboration with educators and families.
- Provide individual and group counseling to support students’ social-emotional development.
- Consult with teachers and staff to promote positive behavioral strategies.
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and develop Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).
Qualifications and Experience:
- Valid School Psychologist certification/licensure.
- Experience working in K-12 educational settings preferred.
- Strong knowledge of cognitive, behavioral, and emotional assessments.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with educators, parents, and administrators.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
