Qualifications:
- Doctoral or Master’s degree in School Psychology or related field
- Valid state certification or licensure as a School Psychologist
- Experience working with K-12 students, ideally in a school setting
- Strong assessment and testing skills, with the ability to administer and interpret a variety of psychological tests
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Cultural competence and commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion in educational practices
Location:
- Soperton, GA
Responsibilities:
- Conduct psychological assessments and evaluations for students (45-50 tests per year)
- Attend and participate in testing meetings and interdisciplinary team discussions
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and parents to develop tailored intervention plans
- Provide consultation services regarding student psychological needs and IEP development
- Monitor and document student progress, making necessary adjustments to interventions
- Participate in professional development opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge
