A Part-Time School Psychologist position is available to support early childhood students in a K-12 educational setting located in Dunnellon, FL. This contract role will be active during the current school year, offering 2 to 3 days per week of work with a focus on early childhood caseloads. Exact schedule details will be coordinated with the program director.
Responsibilities include:
- Conducting psychological assessments and evaluations to support individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Collaborating with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams to develop intervention strategies
- Monitoring student progress and providing data-driven recommendations
- Supporting students with autism spectrum disorder in an inclusive educational environment
- Maintaining comprehensive documentation and compliance with school district policies
Desired qualifications and experience:
- Master’s or Doctoral degree in School Psychology or related field
- Certification or licensure as a School Psychologist
- Experience working with early childhood populations, preferably in autism services or special education
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to work effectively with diverse stakeholders
- Ability to manage a caseload and maintain organized records
