Make a difference in the lives of students by taking on a dynamic, full-time contract assignment as a School Psychologist in a vibrant area near Elgin, IL. In this role, you’ll have the chance to work hands-on across elementary, middle, and high school levels, collaborating closely with educators and families to support student success.

This contract position runs from August 26, 2026, to June 11, 2027. Working Monday through Friday for 37 to 40 hours each week, you’ll join a passionate community committed to educational excellence and student growth.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Hold active School Psychologist licensure in the state of Illinois
  • Previous experience conducting student evaluations, re-evaluation reviews, and functional behavioral assessments, preferably with multiple age groups
  • Strong collaborative skills for working with teachers, administrators, parents, and other support staff
  • Excellent communication, documentation, and organizational abilities
  • Commitment to ethical, student-centered practices in accordance with local and national standards

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct re-evaluation reviews and eligibility meetings across elementary, middle, and high school caseloads
  • Complete functional behavioral assessments and participate in the development of intervention strategies
  • Perform some initial student evaluations as needed
  • Share insights and collaborate in multi-disciplinary teams to inform educational plans
  • Maintain thorough, accurate assessment records and documentation as required
  • Offer support, consultation, and resources to staff and families regarding students’ learning and behavioral needs
