School Psychologist in La Vista, NE

An opportunity exists for skilled professionals specializing in school psychology within a K-12 educational setting. This position is designed for the 2025/26 school year, allowing for the delivery of essential psychological services to students ranging in age from birth to 21 years.

Qualifications:

• Doctoral or Master’s degree in School Psychology or related field
• Valid state licensure or certification in School Psychology
• Experience working in K-12 settings, particularly with diverse populations
• Strong assessment and intervention skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to collaborate effectively with educators, parents, and other professionals
• Familiarity with IEPs and 504 plans

Location:

• La Vista, NE (Itinerant position with travel between school sites)

Responsibilities:

• Provide psychological assessments, interventions, and consultations to students and staff
• Develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs)
• Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and other specialists to support student needs
• Conduct crisis interventions and provide support for students’ mental health
• Offer training and resources to staff and parents regarding psychological services
• Maintain accurate and confidential student records and documentation
• Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and professional development opportunities
