A school psychologist is needed to provide in-person services at an elementary school in Elkhorn, NE, for the remainder of the school year. This contract position requires availability for three days per week, with flexible scheduling options to best meet the needs of the school and students.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct psychological assessments and evaluations to support student learning and development
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and staff to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Provide counseling and crisis intervention services as needed
- Offer consultation and support to teachers and administrators regarding behavioral and learning strategies
- Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with school and district policies
Qualifications:
- Valid licensure or certification as a school psychologist
- Experience working with elementary-aged students in a school setting
- Strong assessment, counseling, and communication skills
- Ability to deliver in-person services and work collaboratively with school personnel
- Flexibility to arrange your own schedule within a three-day weekly commitment
