You’ll work just 15 hours per week, with preferred days on Tuesdays and Wednesdays. As a vital member of the educational team, you’ll collaborate closely with educators, families, and students, utilizing your expertise to foster growth and well-being within the school community.

Qualifications & Desired Experience:

  • Master’s or Doctoral degree in School Psychology from an accredited institution.
  • Active licensure as a School Psychologist in Illinois.
  • Previous experience in K-12 settings is highly valued.
  • Strong interpersonal, assessment, and communication skills.
  • Familiarity with individualized education programs (IEPs) and multi-disciplinary teamwork.
  • Ability to provide psychological assessment, consultations, and crisis intervention.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Conduct psychoeducational evaluations to identify student needs.
  • Interpret test results and communicate findings to parents and school staff.
  • Develop and help implement interventions and behavioral plans.
  • Support the creation and monitoring of IEPs.
  • Offer counseling, consultation, and support services.
  • Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to foster positive outcomes.
  • Consult on crisis intervention and provide timely, compassionate support.
