A full-time School Psychologist is needed to support a K-12 school providing essential psychological services to students in grades 6 through 12. This contract position runs from December 15th through the end of the school year and involves working with a caseload of approximately 35 students, along with new initial evaluations as required.
Key responsibilities include conducting psychological assessments, collaborating with educators and families, developing intervention plans, and providing support to promote student success and well-being. The role requires expertise in school psychology to accurately assess and address the diverse needs of students in a dynamic school environment.
Qualifications and experience desired:
- Valid certification or licensure as a School Psychologist
- Experience working with middle and high school students (grades 6-12)
- Strong assessment and diagnostic skills
- Ability to collaborate effectively with teachers, administrators, and families
- Knowledge of current best practices in school psychology and intervention strategies
