School Psych - Flint, Michigan

Seeking a qualified School Psychologist for a contract position in an elementary school setting, located in Flint, MI. This role offers the opportunity to work with a diverse age group, from birth to 3 years, preschool, and kindergarten through 5th grade students. The contract runs from August 18, 2025, through June 2026, with approximately 30 hours per week.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct psychological assessments and evaluations for early childhood and elementary school students
• Support students from birth to 3 years old, preschool, and K-5 with behavioral interventions and individualized strategies
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and administrators to develop and implement effective support plans
• Provide counseling and guidance to students to promote social-emotional development and academic success
• Maintain detailed records and documentation adhering to relevant regulations and school policies

Desired Qualifications:

• Valid School Psychologist certification/license
• Experience working with early childhood and elementary school populations
• Strong assessment and intervention skills within educational settings
• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities with multidisciplinary teams
• Knowledge of developmental, cognitive, and behavioral psychology principles
