Qualifications:
- Master’s or Doctoral degree in School Psychology or a related field
- Valid and current state credential/licensure to practice as a School Psychologist
- Knowledge of Multi-Tiered System of Supports (MTSS), Response to Intervention (RTI), and positive behavioral interventions
- Experience conducting psychoeducational assessments and interpreting results
- Strong communication, consultation, and counseling skills
- Ability to collaborate effectively with teachers, administrators, parents, and outside agencies
Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive psychological and educational assessments
- Provide direct counseling and intervention services to students
- Develop and monitor individualized education programs (IEPs) and behavior strategies
- Consult with teachers and staff to support classroom management and instructional planning
- Assist in crisis response, prevention programs, and risk assessments
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings
- Promote mental wellness and safe school climates
