Engage in a dynamic role that supports students' mental health and educational needs in a K-12 setting. This position is designed for a dedicated professional ready to make a significant impact from August 1, 2025, to May 31, 2026. The role involves providing psychological services to a diverse student population, focusing on individuals aged birth to 21.
Qualifications:
- Valid school psychologist certification or license.
- Experience working in K-12 educational settings.
- Strong understanding of child and adolescent development.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with educators, parents, and other professionals.
- Excellent assessment and intervention skills.
- Experience with individualized education plans (IEPs) and 504 plans.
Location:
- Bennington, NE (Itinerant position with travel between school sites)
Responsibilities:
- Provide psychological assessments and interventions for students.
- Collaborate with teachers and staff to support student needs.
- Conduct functional behavior assessments and develop behavior intervention plans.
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to IEP discussions.
- Offer training and support to staff on mental health and behavioral issues.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of services provided and progress notes.
