Seeking professionals dedicated to enhancing student well-being and academic success through psychological assessment and interventions in a K-12 school setting. This role is situated in Pflugerville, TX, for the duration of the school year, focusing on providing comprehensive psychological services to students.
Qualifications:
- Doctoral or Master’s degree in School Psychology or related field
- Valid state licensure or certification in school psychology
- Experience working with K-12 students
- Strong assessment and evaluation skills
- Ability to develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Familiarity with educational policies and mental health practices
Responsibilities:
- Conduct psychological assessments and evaluations for students
- Provide counseling and therapeutic interventions tailored to student needs
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals to support student achievement
- Develop and implement IEPs in coordination with school staff
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to a supportive school environment
- Provide training and resources to teachers and staff regarding mental health
