A rewarding opportunity is available for a School Psychologist to support elementary students in a dynamic educational setting located in Gilbert, AZ. This contracted, school year position offers a chance to work collaboratively with educators and families to promote positive student outcomes through psychological assessment, counseling, and intervention strategies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive psychological evaluations and assessments for elementary students
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and support staff to develop Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Provide counseling services and crisis intervention as needed
- Analyze student data to identify learning challenges and recommend appropriate interventions
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to student success plans
Qualifications and Experience:
- Valid School Psychologist certification or licensure
- Experience working with elementary school populations
- Strong knowledge of psychoeducational testing and behavioral assessment tools
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to manage a caseload effectively and maintain detailed records
Location: Gilbert, AZ (Elementary school setting)
Compensation and Benefits:
- Hourly pay ranging from $45 to $55, commensurate with experience
