A K-12 educational institution in Glendale Heights, IL, is seeking a dedicated and skilled School Psychologist for a contract position during the current school year (CSY). This role offers a unique opportunity to support the academic, emotional, and social development of students by providing expert psychological services within a dynamic school setting.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct psychological evaluations and assessments to identify learning challenges and behavioral issues.
  • Collaborate with educators, parents, and administrators to develop intervention strategies and individualized education plans (IEPs).
  • Provide counseling and support services to students to enhance emotional well-being and academic success.
  • Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to ensure integrated support systems for students.
  • Assist in crisis intervention and prevention activities within the school community.
  • Maintain accurate and confidential records in compliance with legal and ethical guidelines.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Master’s or higher degree in School Psychology or related field.
  • Valid School Psychologist certification/license in Illinois.
  • Experience working with K-12 student populations.
  • Strong knowledge of psychological assessment tools and educational laws.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a team and manage multiple priorities.
