A School Psychologist with a License Specialist in School Psychology (LSSP) credential or an Associate School Psychologist credential is needed to provide specialized psychological services for students in a K-12 public school setting. This full-time, on-site contract position is itinerant across multiple campuses within a diverse school district located in Fort Worth, TX.
The role involves conducting comprehensive evaluations and delivering services for students with various exceptionalities, including Autism (AU), Emotional Disturbance (ED), and Other Health Impairment (OHI), such as ADHD. Responsibilities consist of administering assessments, developing Functional Behavioral Assessments (FBAs) and Behavioral Intervention Plans (BIPs), and providing direct counseling and support services. The caseload primarily focuses on elementary students, with some middle school support.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct psychoeducational evaluations to identify student needs and inform Individualized Education Program (IEP) development.
- Administer assessments related to Autism, Emotional Disturbance, ADHD, and other health impairments.
- Develop and monitor FBAs and BIPs to support positive student behavior.
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to implement effective interventions.
- Maintain accurate documentation and comply with state and district regulations.
Qualifications:
- Licensed Specialist in School Psychology (LSSP) or Associate School Psychologist credential.
- Experience working with K-12 students, particularly in elementary and middle school settings.
- Proficiency in conducting evaluations and providing services for students with AU, ED, and OHI.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills for collaboration with school staff and families.
Location: Fort Worth, Texas
Schedule: Full time, 35 hours per week (7 hours per day)
Contract Duration: January 5, 2026 – May 21, 2026 (School Year Contract)
