A school psychologist position is available in Greenwood, IN, offering a contract role within an educational setting. This role focuses on providing psychological services to students, primarily conducting special education evaluations to support their academic and emotional needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct approximately 70 psychoeducational evaluations annually across three school buildings.
- Collaborate effectively with staff, families, and the district supervisor to support and advocate for student needs.
- Participate in monthly team meetings to ensure alignment and coordination of services.
- Ensure compliance with special education laws and guidelines throughout all evaluation and reporting processes.
Qualifications:
- Valid license to practice School Psychology in Indiana is required.
- Experience in psychoeducational assessments and eligibility determination is highly preferred.
- Strong knowledge of special education law and regulatory compliance.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills for working with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams.
Work Environment and Schedule:
- Full-time contract position based onsite.
- Regular hours Monday through Friday, from 7:45 AM to 3:15 PM.
- Expected start: ASAP, with contract through May 21, 2026.
