A dedicated School Psychologist is sought for an onsite position in Clinton, SC, to provide essential support in a K-12 educational setting. This role focuses on addressing the diverse psychological and educational needs of students, ensuring that each child receives the guidance and resources necessary for their success. The position is available immediately and runs through the end of the school year.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct evaluations for Special Education eligibility.
- Assess students for Specific Learning Disabilities using the PSW model.
- Evaluate and support students with Autism Spectrum Disorder, Emotional Disturbance, Anxiety, Depression, and ADHD.
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and support staff to develop and implement appropriate intervention strategies.
- Provide consultation services to school staff regarding psychological assessments and intervention plans.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of student evaluations and services provided.
Qualifications:
- Valid South Carolina School Psychologist License.
- Experience working in K-12 educational settings.
- Proficiency in conducting psychological evaluations and assessments.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with various stakeholders.
- Ability to work independently and manage time efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
