Engage in a rewarding role providing essential psychological services within a K-12 educational setting for the 2025-2026 academic year. This full-time contracted position is based in Hamden, CT, and offers an opportunity to contribute directly to the well-being and academic success of elementary students.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive psychological evaluations and reevaluations.
  • Generate detailed reports to inform educational planning.
  • Provide counseling and support tailored to student needs.
  • Collaborate closely with the Planning and Placement Team (PPT) to develop effective strategies.
  • Deliver direct support to students to address behavioral and emotional challenges.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Valid Connecticut 070 School Psychologist License.
  • Proficiency in administering and interpreting psychological assessments.
  • Experience in report writing and counseling within a school environment.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary PPT team.
  • Strong communication skills to engage with students, families, and educators.

Schedule and Location:

  • Position duration: August 25, 2025, to June 11, 2026.
  • Full-time hours: 37.5 hours per week, Monday through Friday.
  • Work hours: 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.
  • Location: Elementary school in Hamden, Connecticut.
