School Psychologist - Hampton, VA

A school psychologist opportunity is available in the Virginia Beach area to support elementary students in a contract role through the end of 2025. This position plays a vital role in promoting the academic, social, and emotional well-being of young learners.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments and testing to evaluate student needs.
• Participate actively in all student-focused meetings, including Admission, Review, and Dismissal (ARD), reevaluation, and Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings.
• Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to develop and implement appropriate educational plans.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in accordance with district policies.

Qualifications and Experience:

• State licensure as a School Psychologist is required.
• Active Department of Education certification is essential.
• Experience working with elementary-age students is preferred.
• Candidates ranging from new graduates to those with several years of experience are encouraged to apply.
