Qualifications:
- Certification as a School Psychologist in the relevant state
- Master’s or Doctoral degree in School Psychology or related field
- Previous experience working in K-12 educational environments
- Strong assessment, evaluation, and diagnostic skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to develop and implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)
- Knowledge of various mental health interventions and strategies
Location:
- Hazlehurst, Georgia
Responsibilities:
- Conduct psychoeducational assessments and provide appropriate diagnoses
- Collaborate with teachers and staff to create and implement IEPs
- Provide counseling and support services to students and families
- Facilitate training sessions for staff on mental health awareness
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to discuss student progress
- Ensure compliance with state and school district regulations regarding psychological services
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of student assessments and interventions
