This position offers an opportunity to serve a large K-12 school district in Houston, TX, as a School Psychologist on a contract basis for the current school year. Candidates will be engaged in supporting students’ educational and emotional needs through assessment, intervention, and collaboration with educators and families.

Responsibilities include:

  • Conducting psychological evaluations for students to assess learning, behavior, and emotional issues
  • Developing and implementing interventions to support student success
  • Collaborating with educators, administrators, and families to create supportive learning environments
  • Managing a high caseload independently in a large district setting
  • Participating in IEP meetings and providing data-driven recommendations
  • Monitoring student progress and adjusting interventions as necessary

Qualifications:

  • Valid School Psychologist certification and licensure in Texas
  • Experience working with K-12 students in a school setting
  • Ability to manage a high caseload and work independently
  • Strong assessment and intervention skills
  • Effective communication and collaboration abilities

Details:

  • Location: Houston, TX
  • Contract duration: ASAP through June 5, with potential for annual renewal based on performance
  • Work schedule: 37.5 - 40 hours per week
  • Positions available: 2, with placement based on candidate fit and experience
