A full-time School Social Worker position is available within a K-12 school district located in Huntingdon, PA, starting as soon as possible. This contract role spans the current school year (CSY), providing district-wide support for students and staff. The position involves delivering social work services across all grade levels, addressing social-emotional needs and fostering a supportive learning environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide district-wide social work support to K-12 students.
• Assess student needs and develop individualized plans to address social and emotional challenges.
• Collaborate with educators, parents, and community resources to promote student well-being.
• Facilitate interventions, counseling sessions, and crisis support as necessary.
• Maintain accurate documentation and comply with state and district policies.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Master’s Degree in Social Work.
• Valid Pennsylvania License as a Social Worker.
