A part-time School Psychologist opportunity is available for the 2026-2027 school year, serving a single K-12 school site in Jakin, GA. This contract position requires 20 hours per week, providing in-person support from August 1, 2026, through May 1, 2027. The role will involve handling approximately 40 initial evaluations during the school year.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct initial psychological evaluations for K-12 students
- Collaborate with school staff to support student mental health and academic success
- Develop and implement intervention plans based on assessment findings
- Participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings and provide recommendations
- Maintain accurate records and documentation in compliance with school policies and regulations
Qualifications:
- Valid certification or licensure as a School Psychologist
- Experience working with K-12 student populations
- Strong knowledge of psychological assessment tools and techniques
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Commitment to providing in-person services during scheduled hours
