A full-time School Psychologist position is available for the 2023-2024 school year in a K-12 school setting located in Joliet, IL. This contract role offers an opportunity to work directly within the school community, supporting students’ psychological needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct psychological assessments and evaluations for students ranging from PreK through 8th grade.
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and administrators to develop intervention plans and support student success.
  • Provide counseling and crisis intervention as needed.
  • Participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings and contribute to special education planning.
  • Maintain accurate and confidential documentation in compliance with district and state guidelines.

Qualifications:

  • Valid Professional Educator License (PEL) with a School Psychologist endorsement.
  • Experience working with children in elementary and middle school environments.
  • Strong assessment and diagnostic skills.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
  • Ability to manage a caseload effectively and prioritize responsibilities.

Position Details:

  • Location: Joliet, IL (onsite)
  • Schools Served: 1 role for middle school; 2 roles shared between 4 elementary schools (PreK-5th grade).
  • Full-time commitment, 37.5 hours per week.
  • Contract duration through May 2026.
