A K-12 school in Kent, WA is seeking a qualified School Psychologist for a contracted position during the current school year (CSY). This role is ideal for professionals with expertise in providing psychological services within educational settings.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments and evaluations for students across K-12.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and administrators to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs).
- Provide counseling and crisis intervention services to support student mental health and well-being.
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to school-wide initiatives to promote a positive learning environment.
- Maintain accurate records and comply with legal and ethical standards related to student services.
Qualifications:
- Valid certification or licensure as a School Psychologist.
- Experience working in K-12 educational settings.
- Strong assessment, counseling, and consultation skills.
