This role entails working full-time at 40 hours per week, following the school district's calendar, and encompasses multiple itinerant caseloads across various schools.

Qualifications:

  • Active South Carolina School Psychology Credential
  • Master’s degree or higher in School Psychology
  • New graduates are encouraged to apply
  • Strong assessment and evaluation skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively with teachers and other school personnel

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct psycho-educational assessments using a variety of protocols
  • Prepare comprehensive and legally defensible assessments for students with learning, emotional, and behavioral disabilities
  • Interpret and communicate assessment findings to staff, families, and authorized personnel
  • Provide direct support and practical assistance to students and teachers
  • Offer counseling to students as needed
  • Attend and participate in IEP meetings and other required educational meetings
  • Perform additional duties as assigned

Location:

  • Kershaw, SC, with itinerant positions across multiple K-12 schools
