A part-time opportunity is available for a dedicated professional specializing in providing psychological services within a K-12 school environment. This contract position spans the academic year, allowing for meaningful engagement with students from July 16, 2025, to June 5, 2026.
Qualifications:
- Master’s or Doctoral degree in School Psychology
- Valid state licensure or certification in School Psychology
- Experience working with K-12 students
- Strong assessment and evaluation skills
- Ability to develop and implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Knowledge of social, emotional, and academic interventions
Location:
- Elgin, SC
- Onsite 1 day a week; hybrid schedule available
Responsibilities:
- Conduct psychological evaluations and assessments for students, managing a caseload of 35-40 evaluations.
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals to support student needs.
- Develop, implement, and review Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) in accordance with state regulations.
- Provide consultation services to school staff regarding student mental health and learning challenges.
- Deliver training and workshops to staff and parents on psychological services and best practices.
- Maintain accurate and confidential student records and documentation.
