A full-time School Psychologist position is available for a K-12 public school located in Lincoln, CA, serving students from preschool through elementary levels. This role offers a contract opportunity starting ASAP through the end of the current school year. The position involves working with a diverse caseload including preschool, Resource Specialist Program (RSP), and Independent Living Skills (ILS) classes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conducting psychoeducational assessments and evaluations to identify student needs
- Collaborating with educators, families, and support staff to develop appropriate intervention plans
- Providing counseling and support services to students
- Participating in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings and supporting compliance with special education regulations
- Assisting with behavioral interventions and crisis response as necessary
Desired Qualifications:
- Valid School Psychologist credential or license
- Experience working within a K-12 educational setting, especially with elementary and preschool populations
- Knowledge of special education laws, regulations, and best practices
- Ability to manage a diverse caseload, including students in RSP and ILS programs
- Strong communication and collaboration skills for effective teamwork
