A school psychologist is sought to provide comprehensive psychological services in a K-12 public school setting located in Live Oak, FL. This contract position is available for the current school year, starting as soon as possible. The successful candidate will conduct educational evaluations for various eligibility programs, including IND (Intellectual Disability), ASD (Autism Spectrum Disorder), OHI (Other Health Impairment), and SLD (Specific Learning Disability).
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform thorough psychological assessments to determine student eligibility for special education programs.
- Develop detailed evaluation reports and make recommendations for educational placement and services.
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to support student development.
- Provide consultation and intervention services as needed.
- Maintain compliance with state and federal regulations.
- Participate in in-person work a minimum of two days per week at locations in Live Oak and Branford.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Master's or Specialist degree in School Psychology.
- Valid Florida school psychologist certification or eligibility.
- Proven experience conducting evaluations in a K-12 setting.
- Strong knowledge of eligibility criteria for special education programs, including IND, ASD, OHI, and SLD.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
Location:
- In-person presence required at least two days weekly in Live Oak and Branford, Florida.
