Seeking a qualified School Psychologist to support K-12 students in Lowell, MA, for the current school year on a contract basis. This role involves collaborating closely with educators, parents, and administration to promote students’ academic, social, and emotional development within the school setting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct psychological assessments and evaluations to identify student needs
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) and interventions
- Provide counseling and support to students facing learning or behavioral challenges
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to create a supportive learning environment
- Attend meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary team discussions on student progress
- Maintain accurate and confidential records in compliance with school policies and regulations
Desired Qualifications and Experience:
- Master’s or Doctoral degree in School Psychology or related field
- Valid state licensure or certification as a School Psychologist
- Experience working with K-12 populations in a school setting
- Strong knowledge of psychological assessment tools and intervention strategies
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
