A contracted opportunity is available for a School Psychologist to provide specialized support for K-12 students during a leave period. This role is based in Meriden, CT, and involves delivering comprehensive psychological services within a school setting to support student learning, well-being, and development.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct psychological assessments to identify students’ cognitive, emotional, and behavioral needs
  • Collaborate with educators, parents, and staff to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
  • Provide counseling and intervention services to support student mental health and academic success
  • Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute professional insights for student support
  • Maintain accurate documentation and comply with applicable laws and regulations surrounding student privacy

Desired Qualifications and Experience:

  • Valid certification or licensure as a School Psychologist
  • Experience working within K-12 educational environments
  • Strong understanding of special education laws and psychological assessment tools
  • Effective communication skills for collaborative work with students, families, and school personnel
  • Ability to manage caseloads efficiently and deliver high-quality services during temporary assignments
