A K-12 school in Naperville, IL is seeking a skilled School Psychologist to provide comprehensive psychological services throughout the school year on a contract basis. This role involves supporting students’ academic, social, and emotional development to foster a positive learning environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct psychoeducational assessments and interpret results to guide eligibility and intervention decisions
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and administrators to develop Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Provide counseling and crisis intervention services to students as needed
- Assist in creating behavior management plans and support classroom interventions
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and maintain accurate documentation in compliance with district policies
Qualifications:
- Master’s or doctoral degree in School Psychology
- Valid state certification or licensure as a School Psychologist
- Experience working with students K-12 in a school setting
- Strong knowledge of psychoeducational assessment tools and techniques
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
