This full-time position is seeking a dedicated school psychologist to support K-12 students in a dynamic educational setting in New Albany, IN. The role involves working directly with students, staff, and families to provide comprehensive psychological services that promote student well-being and academic success.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct initial evaluations and psychological assessments for K-12 students in person
  • Participate in meetings with educational teams, parents, and administrators to discuss student progress and intervention strategies
  • Prepare detailed reports based on evaluations and ongoing observations; report writing can be completed remotely
  • Collaborate with teachers, counselors, and other professionals to develop individualized education plans (IEPs) and support services
  • Provide consultation and recommendations to school staff regarding behavioral and emotional challenges

Qualifications:

  • Valid School Psychologist certification or licensure in the state of Indiana
  • Experience working with a K-12 student population
  • Strong knowledge of psychological assessment tools and educational regulations
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration
  • Ability to manage approximately 50 evaluations and reports annually

Position Details:

  • Full-time contract (37.5 hours per week; 7.5 hours per day)
  • Work primarily onsite with in-person evaluations and meetings
  • Flexible option to complete documentation and reporting tasks from home
