A full-time School Psychologist role is available in a K-12 public school setting in New Britain, CT, for the current school year contract through June 16, 2026. This opportunity offers work with a diverse student population across various age groups, supporting educational and therapeutic programs.

Location: New Britain, CT

Contract Duration: ASAP through June 16, 2026, with strong potential for renewal due to recent district vacancies.

Schedule: Full-time, Monday through Friday, 35-37.5 hours per week.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive psychological evaluations and assessments for K-12 students.
  • Collaborate with educators, parents, and administrators to develop appropriate interventions and support plans.
  • Provide direct support and consultation for multiple schools, potentially assigned to one of the following:
    • West Bristol School (K-4, 8:00 AM – 3:00 PM)
    • Bristol Eastern High School (one of two psychologists, 7:15 AM – 2:25 PM)
    • Destinations Therapeutic Program (8:00 AM – 2:00 PM)
  • Contribute to the overall wellbeing and academic success of students through tailored psychological services.

Qualifications:

  • Active School Psychologist license in Connecticut.
  • Prior experience working in school environments.
  • Proven expertise in conducting psychological evaluations and interpreting results.
  • Ability to work on-site and manage various caseloads effectively.
