A successful candidate will possess:

  • Active Delaware school psychology licensure (required prior to interview)
  • Prior experience in school settings, preferably with various age groups (preschool through high school)
  • Strong background in conducting psychoeducational evaluations and comprehensive report writing
  • Collaboration skills for effective participation in IEP meetings and teamwork with teachers and staff
  • Adaptability to manage a varied caseload and support students at multiple school sites
  • Reliable transportation to ensure punctual and consistent onsite presence

Key responsibilities include:

  • Performing psychoeducational assessments and evaluations for students requiring academic or behavioral support
  • Writing clear, actionable psychological reports for educational planning
  • Participating as an integral member of IEP teams, contributing expertise to decision-making processes
  • Collaborating with district staff to develop and implement strategic interventions tailored to student needs
  • Maintaining detailed records and ensuring all documentation aligns with district and state requirements
  • Providing consultative support for families and faculty regarding student mental health and learning accommodations

This contract position offers a structured Monday through Friday schedule (37.5 hours per week) through June 2026. You’ll join a supportive educational network, gain experience across age ranges, and help students achieve their full potential.
