An opportunity exists for a dedicated professional to provide essential psychological services within an educational setting. This role focuses on conducting assessments and evaluations for K-12 students, ensuring that each child receives the support they need to thrive academically and socially.
Qualifications:
- Doctoral or Master's degree in School Psychology
- Valid school psychologist certification or license
- Experience with K-12 evaluations and report writing
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to collaborate effectively with educators, parents, and multidisciplinary teams
- Proficient in using technology for assessments, including district-provided laptops
Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive psychological evaluations and assessments for students
- Prepare detailed reports outlining evaluation findings and recommendations
- Provide consultation services to teachers, staff, and parents regarding student needs
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) in collaboration with educational teams
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and professional development opportunities
- Maintain accurate and confidential student records in compliance with regulations
