An opportunity is available for a full-time Elementary School Psychologist to serve students in grades K-12 in a New Haven, CT school for the 2025-2026 academic year. This contract position runs from August 25, 2025, through June 11, 2026, with a standard schedule of 8:30 AM to 3:30 PM, totaling 37.5 hours per week.
Key responsibilities include conducting psychological evaluations and re-evaluations, delivering counseling services, writing detailed reports, and providing direct support to students. Working closely with the PPT (Planning and Placement Team), this role is essential in contributing to student success and educational planning.
Qualifications and experience:
- Valid Connecticut 070 School Psychologist License
- Proven experience performing evaluations, re-evaluations, and delivering counseling in an elementary school setting
- Ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams and provide direct student support
- Strong report writing skills and attention to detail
