This full-time School Psychologist role is available for the 2025-2026 school year at an elementary school serving grades K-2 in New Haven, CT. The position is contracted for the school year and requires availability for 32.5 hours per week. Candidates must hold valid Connecticut certification as a School Psychologist.

Key Qualifications:

  • Certification as a School Psychologist in Connecticut
  • Experience working with elementary school children, preferably grades K-2
  • Strong assessment, counseling, and intervention skills
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with teachers, families, and administration

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct psychological assessments and evaluations to support student learning and development
  • Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) for students with special needs
  • Provide counseling and crisis intervention services as needed
  • Consult with school staff and families regarding student progress, behavior, and mental health
  • Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to school-wide initiatives
