School Psych - Newaygo, Michigan

A contracted position is available for a skilled School Psychologist to support K-12 students in a school setting located in Newaygo, MI. This role offers an opportunity to collaborate with educators, administrators, and families to promote students' academic success and emotional well-being throughout the school year.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments, including cognitive, academic, social-emotional, and behavioral evaluations
• Interpret assessment results and communicate findings with educators, parents, and students
• Develop and implement individualized intervention plans to address student needs
• Consult with teachers and staff to support classroom strategies and behavior management
• Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings, including Individualized Education Program (IEP) development
• Provide crisis intervention and counseling support as needed
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in compliance with district and legal requirements

Qualifications:

• Valid School Psychologist certification or licensure appropriate for Michigan
• Experience working within K-12 educational settings
• Strong knowledge of psychological assessment tools and intervention techniques
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work collaboratively with diverse student populations and school personnel
