Located near Summerville, South Carolina, this full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) position offers a rewarding opportunity to support students from kindergarten through 12th grade in a dynamic school environment. The role is structured as a full-time contract with typical school-year hours, Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. (or as per school schedule), starting as soon as possible.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver both direct and indirect speech-language pathology services to a diverse K–12 student population.
  • Conduct thorough evaluations and assessments, prepare detailed reports, and develop Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) tailored to student needs.
  • Collaborate closely with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to establish and achieve student communication goals.
  • Maintain accurate documentation including service logs, progress notes, and compliance materials.
  • Support students across multiple school sites within the district as required.
  • Actively participate in IEP meetings, professional development, and team planning activities.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences and Disorders.
  • Valid South Carolina SLP License or eligibility to obtain licensure.
  • ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred; consideration given to Clinical Fellows (CFs).
  • Previous experience in a school-based setting (K–12) is preferred.
  • Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills are essential.
