A K-12 School in North Grosvenordale, CT is seeking a skilled School Psychologist for a contract position covering the current school year. This role provides an opportunity to make a meaningful impact on student success and well-being in a dynamic educational environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct psychological assessments and evaluations to identify students’ learning, behavioral, and emotional needs.
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and administrators to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) and intervention strategies.
  • Provide counseling and support services to students experiencing academic, social, or emotional challenges.
  • Assist in crisis intervention and offer recommendations for classroom accommodations.
  • Maintain accurate records and prepare reports in compliance with school and state regulations.

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

  • Valid certification or licensure as a School Psychologist.
  • Experience working with K-12 students, including assessment and intervention.
  • Strong knowledge of special education laws, psychological testing tools, and behavioral intervention techniques.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with students, families, and school staff.
  • Ability to manage multiple cases and maintain confidentiality.

Location: North Grosvenordale, Connecticut – serving a K-12 school community.
