This position seeks a skilled School Psychologist to support a virtual academy serving approximately 60 students. The role focuses on providing psychological services within an educational setting, operating on a contract basis with a consistent Monday through Thursday schedule totaling 32 hours per week. Located in Nyssa, OR, this opportunity supports a smaller student population in a virtual learning environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments to identify student needs
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and administrators to develop individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Provide counseling and intervention strategies to support student social and emotional well-being
- Monitor student progress and adjust services as necessary to ensure positive educational outcomes
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and provide expertise on learning challenges and behavioral strategies
- Maintain accurate documentation and comply with applicable regulations and ethical standards
Desired Qualifications:
- Valid certification or licensure as a School Psychologist
- Experience working in virtual or remote education settings preferred
