A full-time School Psychologist position is available for the upcoming full school year at a high school located in Oakland, CA. This is an onsite, contract role designed for an experienced professional ready to support students’ educational and emotional well-being.
Responsibilities include:
- Conducting psychological assessments and evaluations for high school students
- Collaborating with educators, parents, and staff to develop individualized intervention plans
- Providing counseling services and crisis intervention when needed
- Participating in multidisciplinary team meetings and contributing to student support strategies
- Monitoring student progress and adjusting plans as necessary to improve outcomes
Qualifications:
- Master’s or Doctoral degree in School Psychology
- Valid California credential or license as a School Psychologist
- Experience working with high school students preferred
- Strong assessment, counseling, and consultative skills
- Ability to work collaboratively with diverse student populations and staff
