An opportunity exists for a dedicated professional to support the educational and developmental needs of young students in an early childhood setting. This contract position is designed for individuals passionate about enhancing the well-being and learning of children aged 3-5 through psychological services.

Gig Harbor, WA
Qualifications:
- Master’s or Doctoral degree in School Psychology or related field
- Valid school psychologist certification or licensure in Washington State
- Experience working with early childhood populations, preferably in an educational setting
- Strong assessment, intervention, and consultation skills
- Ability to collaborate effectively with educators, parents, and other professionals
- Cultural competency and commitment to promoting diversity and equity in education
Responsibilities:
- Provide psychological assessments and interpret results for students.
- Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) based on assessment findings.
- Collaborate with teachers and staff to create supportive learning environments.
- Deliver direct services to students, including counseling and interventions.
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to holistic student support.
- Consult with families regarding behavioral and emotional concerns and recommend strategies.
