An opportunity is available for a School Psychologist to provide services at an Early Childhood School in Oxon Hill, MD. This contract position offers approximately 24 hours per week, with a commitment expected from March through July 2026.

In this role, you will work closely with the Preschool Child Find team to evaluate young children throughout the county, supporting early identification and intervention efforts. Your assessments and insights will be critical in helping to develop appropriate educational plans and supports for each child.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct psychological evaluations of preschool-aged children to identify developmental, behavioral, and learning needs.
  • Collaborate with the Preschool Child Find team and other multidisciplinary professionals.
  • Provide timely and thorough reports documenting assessment findings.
  • Participate in case conferences and contribute to planning effective interventions.
  • Comply with all applicable policies, procedures, and confidentiality requirements.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Valid credentials and licensure as a School Psychologist.
  • Experience working with early childhood populations and conducting preschool evaluations.
  • Knowledge of assessment tools and best practices in early childhood psychological evaluation.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with families, educators, and multidisciplinary teams.
  • Commitment to maintaining accurate documentation and meeting deadlines.
