A K-12 school in Philadelphia, PA is seeking a skilled School Psychologist to join their team on a contract basis for the current school year. This position offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on student success and well-being within a dynamic educational environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct individual and group assessments to identify students’ cognitive, social, and emotional needs
  • Collaborate with educators, parents, and administrators to develop and implement intervention strategies and support plans
  • Provide counseling and crisis intervention services to students
  • Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to the development of individualized education plans (IEPs)
  • Monitor student progress and adjust strategies as needed to promote positive educational outcomes
  • Maintain accurate and confidential student records in compliance with legal and ethical standards

Desired Qualifications and Experience:

  • Master’s or Doctoral degree in School Psychology
  • Valid licensure or certification as a School Psychologist in Pennsylvania
  • Experience working with diverse K-12 student populations
  • Strong assessment, consultation, and counseling skills
  • Knowledge of special education laws, regulations, and best practices
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team
