A full-semester position is available for a School Psychologist to support an elementary school setting in Phoenix, AZ. This contract role requires onsite presence and entails working closely with students to provide comprehensive psychological services over the academic year.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct psychological testing and evaluations for students within the elementary grade levels
- Participate in meetings with educators, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to discuss assessment results and develop intervention strategies
- Manage a caseload of approximately 65 students, ensuring timely and accurate evaluation procedures
- Collaborate with school staff to address students' academic, social, emotional, and behavioral needs
Qualifications and Experience:
- Valid certification or licensure as a School Psychologist
- Experience working with elementary-aged children in school settings
- Strong knowledge of psychoeducational assessments and data interpretation
- Ability to manage a sizable caseload independently and efficiently
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
Schedule and Location:
- Full-time daily commitment of 8 hours, not to exceed 40 hours per week
- Contract duration from July 1, 2025, through May 22, 2026
- Onsite work at the elementary school in Phoenix, AZ; no remote or hybrid options are available
